CHRIST THE KING CELEBRATION

Post  kuya jollibee on Mon Nov 17, 2008 10:59 am

EVERYONE IS INVITED! Let us celebrate with our KING!

What is Christ the King Sunday?

Christ the King Sunday celebrates Jesus' role as King over all. However, we must recall that Jesus is King because he is a servant to all. Jesus' kingship is one of power and might, but also humility. These Christ the King Sunday prayers reflect these themes.

Officially called the Feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King, it is celebrated on the final Sunday of Ordinary Time, the Sunday before Advent.
This year it falls on November 23, 2008
